Once we was at the top of the bean stalk Jack saw a huge castle. Jack decided to go into the castle to take a peek around. Once inside Jack saw that everything was enormous. Jack realized this was a giant’s castle; since he was already there he snuck into the kitchen very quietly and stole some bread and cheese along with some milk for him and his mother. Jack climbed the huge chair to get on top of the huge kitchen table. While filling his pockets with the bread and cheese he saw a brown hen. Just then he heard a loud that sounded like rolling thunder and a huge ugly giant walked in.
With a loud roar the giant said “Fee Fi Fu fun, I smell an Englishman! Whether he be alive or dead, I’ll grind his bones to make my bread!”
Jack quickly hid. After searching for Jack and finding nothing, the giant sat down and grabbed his hen. Very forcefully, the giant hollered “LAY” and the brown hen laid a golden egg. As Jack witnessed this he knew with this hen he and his mother would never be poor again.
